Apelon will be presenting DTS on FHIR at the HL7 FHIR Applications Roundtable held at Harvard Medical School in Boston July 27-28, 2016. 

HIMSS 2018 is upon us, March 5 – 9, in fabulous Las Vegas! We’ll be attending to show off the new DTS version 4.6, collaborate with our partners at Clinical Architecture, Booth 5754 and talk all things informatics with colleagues and partners.

Apelon will be attending the second Australian National Clinical Terminology Service FHIR Connectathon in Melbourne, Australia, May 18 and 19. We will be working alongside teams from the Australian government and EMR vendors to explore how terminology tools and content can be leveraged to improve information delivery in Australia

SNOMED CT Expo 2016 offers an opportunity to network with government officials, health IT professionals, practitioners, researchers, vendors from around the world and showcase the latest health IT achievements. A program of lectures and educational sessions will enable the participants to learn about the language of health IT and its recent developments.

Apelon’s Christie Johnson, APRN, will be presenting a poster at the 13th International Conference in Nursing Informatics in Geneva describing Apelon’s work building SNOMED-based detailed clinical information models and how those models can be adapted for nursing-focused content. We hope to see you in Geneva!

Apelon’s John Carter, VP Professional Services, will be attending the MedDRA Users Group in Philadelphia, PA on June 30, 2016. He looks forward to learning about the latest changes to MedDRA, which is used for a wide variety of pharmaceutical-related reporting and analytics, and networking with other MedDRA users.
